Love my Hair. I'm fairly new in town and desperately needed to get my hair done. Since I've had so many hair disasters when I randomly pick salons from the phone book I decided to check City Search to see where other people had good experiences. They had nothing but good reviews and I totally agree.

Never be disappointed with your hair again!!. Brittany has been doing my color for a couple of years and I always get TONS of compliments. I have been to places where I'll tell them what I want and they say they will do it but then they do nothing like what I wanted. Brittany really listens and will let me know if what I want is either not realistic or just plain wont look right, I completely trust her opinion. P.S. This salon is so cute!!

DANA IS FABULOUS. I have gone to DANA for cuts and highlights for a few years now, and every time it is amazing. People constantly ask where I get my hair done, and now that I have moved to Santa Cruz, I still drive the 2+ hours to see DANA because it is worth it. I totally trust her judgment regarding what will look great, what will be functional and fit my lifestyle. And, she is practically a comedian, totally fun to hang out with. She is the best stylist I know of.

Succinctly put by a friend: "That sounds like an experience worth driving 3 hours for and of course, a place where your hair can be done correctly is a temple and deserves this pilgrimage."

James is awesome. I have been going to James for a good couple of years now. He does an amazing job. He is also very accomodating when it comes to my tight schedule. Mark, the salon manager is also very accomodating and friendly.

Personal, hip, meticulous service!. I just moved to Sac from NYC and didn't know where to get my hair cut WELL, so I took a chance on Apartment 19 and thank heavens my entire experience was fantastic! Gina informed me of her strengths as it pertained to my hair type, and was knowledgeable and communicative every step on the way. She was sweet and fun to chat with. Also, the premises is truly unique -- clean, comfortably yet stylishly decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. I've found my go-to spot for hair now that I'm here!

Absolutely Wonderful!. I've enjoyed James and Cindy Ann for about a year and keep coming back for more! Love the new salon. I highly recommend both and regularly send friends their way.

Brows Expert. Cindy Ann is an expert at redesigning brows that have been tainted from another. Good prices, also.

You can not go wrong here!. If you are looking for an amazing stylist, in a comforable classy salon you have found it , James at Apartment 19. James has been cutting my hair for years, and although I am very picky, I have always been delighted. James is a wonderful person, and the new salon is great. Give it a try!

cutting edge style...pun intended :). James not only gives you the hair you never thought you could have, but he makes you feel like you are "in" with the cool kids...his no nonsense consultaions, warm and charming nature and amazing post-cut and color styles are far superior to anything you've ever experienced in sacramento, san francisco, new york or LA....this town is blessed to have such a talent right in midtown...anyone who works for him is always going to be top notch, so not to worry if you cant get in with him right away...i totally trust him and therefor trust whoever he trusts with my hair.....not to mention how beautiful the space is!!! tons of light pour filtered through trees in this second floor jem....and there is all that wonderful midtown charm...plus it's in the center of all that is happening in sacramento. I just know this place is going to be too busy to get an appoinment in soon...so take advantage of the fact that it's JUST opened...and book a cut and color with anyone you can today!!!!

Above and beyond. James has been cutting and coloring my hair for over seven years. It's about time he opened his own place so that he can apply his extremely high standards not only to his work product, but also the environment he works in. His new place has lots of natural light, with an open and airy sophistication. I always receive compliments on my hair and I've referred several people to James. I guarantee a refreshing experiance at Apartment 19.
