D E F E N C E. The Pleasant Grove Blvd location is my "base" clinic; however, I have had oral surgreys at three other locations. My family has been patients of the Pavilions Group for over three years. We have gone in for our 6 month check ups as scheduled. Regular appointments have always been convient and on two occassions where we had a dental priority; they scheduled us right away. In all four clinics the Doctors and the support staff have always been extremely friendly and very helpful. The technology at Pavilions is outstanding. The Pleasant Grove location is "Tops" in professionalism, skill, and knowledge. fsbuc ~ Sometimes when things don't start out right they just go downhill afterward. It is, however, difficult to believe the situation was as you described. With the cost of things today ~ the pizza coupon is pretty valuable. Afterall, they didn't have to offer you anything! I'm sure by now you are aware that there are clinics that specialize in dental care specifically for children.

Pavilions Dental Group, 1259 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville. My family had been patients of this office for more than a couple of years now!!! However, my 5 year old son was put through a trauma by one of the doctors (Dr. Ray), to be more specific, which is indescribable!!! Knowing a 5 yr old child, knowing the condition he was called in for (cavity)......he numbed my son, and then refused to work on him, due to the excuse of my son "being uncooperative"!! My son did not cry or even glitch trough the injection process!!! He had been at the dentist many times before for visits, and knew what to expect!!! He was never afraid of the doctors, cleanings in his mouth...etc!!!

However, two minutes into the process, this inexperienced doctor started yelling at me and my son, that my son in not listening and he can't complete his work!! I asked him to try, now that his face was half numbed, and not knowing what was happening to him!!! The doctor started asking me ..."what kind of mother I am"!!! The question I ask myself is: what kind of doctors run that office, how skilled and experienced are they?? If I were him, a 5 yr old child should have been referred to a specialist to begin with!!! Not to ask him in, take ex-rays, numb him, and then refuse to complete the work, and kick us out of the office!!! And what have they offered??? A coupon to a local Pizza Parlor!!!!!! How unprofessional of them!!! Of that entire office, and the entire chain of this dental group!!!! They are so greedy; they don't know when to treat, or who to treat!!! Based on this Dr. Ray's readings of the ex-rays, my son was only to have /need one cavity fixed in his mouth!! Guess what?? Turned out, he needed 3 more besides Dr. Ray's diagnosis!!! Or was he waiting for the other 3 to turn into what the first one was (needing a root canal /pulpatomy is what they do to children)!! Thank God we took our business somewhere else!!!!
