$100 Steak - No! Great food at reasonable prices - Yes!. I was recently reading the comments posted on Roxy Restaurant. It is interesting to note the diversity of comments. At the time I reviewed the comments there were six. One mentioned Burger Night which is a great deal. Burger of your own choice or making with a pairing of an inexpensive bottle of wine or beer.

A great value ... of which my wife and friends take advantage of frequently. We also have been there for brunch and found it to be excellent.

Another rated them "spot on for food" but "spotty service". Every time we have visited we have friendly service. So, I wonder if Erica2u caught them on a couple of bad nights?

Great for all types of appetites! And the decor is intriguing; least not your run of the mill corporate place.. Thurs. went in for Burger Nite. Fantastic idea and great concept to save money but still get great quality food like their Lucky Dog Ranch pasture fed black Angus beef from the owners' ranch right in Dixon. We started off with happy hour drinks. My hubby had their El Toro Amber ale from Morgan Hill - used also in their BBQ sauce. For $2 he had to have 2 at that price! Moved onto a lovely booth and proceeded to fill out our burger forms. SO hard to choose which one I wanted so I built my own LDR beef burger ($5.95); added caramelized onions ($.95), cheddar cheese ($.95) and cilantro aoili, side of fries ($2.95). My burger was cooked a perfect MW temp, some pink throughout and moist. My hubby opted for a pre-built Cowboy Buffalo burger [can't tell its not beef] which has carm onions, crispy bacon [finally! hard to find good crispy bacon in sac], smoked cheddar chz & bbq aioli all for $11.95 This burger also perfectly cooked at Well. I love their braised port wine short ribs & pan seared salmon. I love their BK on weekends; I love their donuts with three dipping sauces. And although its breakfast I have to have their Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with spicy Tabasco sauce. Just melts in my mouth with the skinny crispy garlic fries. The best thing about this place is they strive to use locally owned items for their menu & specials. Heirloom tomatoes from Red Barn Farms; Apricots from Merryhill school [project], Del Rio Farms, John Bledsoe for pork chops, etc. This is a great concept & I like knowing my patronage helps encourage this concept and I help leave a lesser carbon footprint! Not to mention is much more fresh.

The service is spotty but the food is dead on. I've eaten there twice in a one week period (voluntarily). The first time was on Mother's Day when I took Mom (obviously). Despite how busy it was, the service was incredibly attentive and the food was utterly amazing. The portion size was perfect and the meal was cooked perfectly. The second time was yesterday when I went for the Farmers Market dinner. The restaurant was virtually empty but despite that, the service was seriously lacking. However, the food was absolutely fresh and perfectly done. I will be going back (unless that bad service starts to win out).

NO GOOD!! please read before eating here. first off, i am a chef and have been a food server for over 8 years in fine dining.... let me start by saying if you are looking for a fine dining experience this NOT where you want to go! It is highly overpriced for the quality of the food and service. Dont bother making a reservation because it promises NOTHING! Several people were seated (without a reservation) before my wife and i, we waited 30 minutes after our reservation time simply to be sat at a tiny table two feet from the kitchen. It seemed like we were unimportant in comparison to others!! Management was NOT accomodating at all, in fact it was quite the opposite. The manager made it obvious that she had other people to attend to, and wasn't to my suprise to find her in deep conversation with the same tables that were rudely sat before my wife and i!! Our food service was not horrible, but our table was clearly not a priority with speed of food. Essentially, IF YOU DONT KNOW THE MANAGERS, DONT GO THERE!!!! There are far too many amazing resteraunts in the vicinity to settle for Roxy! Save your time and money, you will come out frustrated, wishing that you chose a different resteraunt

Not all that exciting. I went there for brunch last sunday and was not pleased at all. I didn't find the style of western very intriguing, especially the backs of the benches being real cowhide. I was with a group of people so we all got different plates and I got to taste a number of their dishes. Didn't like any of them, and I love food. I was rather disappointed to sum it all up. The service was good though which, that and the people I went with, made it an okay experience. Now I haven't been there for lunch or dinner yet, but will give it another try. My mother LOVES the restaurant, otherwise I wouldn't even bother. Good luck
