Best Burger Ever!. Great burgers, great beer and wine selection. Where else can YOU decide exactly what you want on your burger. Service is always prompt and friendly!

We love it!. My family and I love Counter Burger in Roseville! The sweet potato fries are the BEST around, and the sauce to dip them in is fabulous! We have tried the burgers and chicken sandwiches many different ways and love them all. The chili is good, too. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and they answer any questions we have. We love being able to choose what's on our burgers, not let the place tell us how it comes! It's one of the best burger places around Sacramento!

Don't Spend your hard earn money here!!!!. 4 of us friends went to the Counter for lunch last Friday around 3:00pm, we heard it can get very busy during lunch so wanted to go during off hours. We were seated right away, but the greeting was not very warm and indifferent.

We sat down and our waiter treated us as if we had inconvenience him by working. We told him we were "newbie's" and never been to the counter, he didn't seemed very excited to have us as customers.

Our fries came out right away (small portions for the price), then it took 30 minutes for our hamburgers to arrive. Our waiter wouldn't meet our eyes when we tried to ask why it was taking so long for our lunch (remember there was only about 12 customers including us 4 in the joint). We didn't finish all the fries (overcooked) and were cold by the time our dry, flavorless, and small hamburgers arrived. No one finished any of our hamburgers, after seeing the $52.00 Bill we should of LICKED the grease off of each plate. REALLY 4 hamburgers, 2 side fries, and 2 sodas for $52.00 NOT including TIP!!!!!. Go over to the HABIT and get 6 yes 6 hamburgers, 6 Fries, and 6 sodas for less than $52.00 including tax. They will always treat you with a smile and thank you for coming in!!!!

The COUNTER tries to pull off an "upscale" atmosphere but fails horribly. Customers will pay for overpriced food, but NEVER for POOR service; unless they change the SERVICE, the COUNTER will not make it in Roseville.

GO to the Habit or Island's!!!!

Great Burgers. Tried this place with the family and had a great experience. We loved picking every detail of our meal, from the bun, toppings and to the sauce...it was delicious and fresh! We will definitely go back.

Not worth the price. After waiting a long time, we were finally seated in a crowded, noisy room. Ordered the onion strings...so greasy we couldn't eat them. Our burgers were small and mediocre.. Mel's Diner on Lonetree Blvd. in Rocklin serves a WAY better burger at half the price. The staff was indifferent, and our waitress wouldn't meet our eyes when we tried to order a drink refill. This place tries to pull off a "classy" atmosphere but fails miserably.

not even close to being worth the price.... So we had a nice outing with 2 couples after church and went to The Counter....

-the first thing was the seating was too tight to other

-the menu was like reading a technical remote control program guide

-the service was scattered and really not friendly but I am aware that it could have been the guy who waited on us...

-took forever to get the appetizers and then the main entree came withing 2minutes of the appetizers....POOR

-wait staff was over worked and tired (it was lunch)

-we did enjoy the burger but at the price it was hard not too...

Recommendation: D and that's because the appetizers were GREAT. Go to the Habit or Islands for a better price and burger....

Burgers = Cuisine. I don't like that I would have shelled out $50.00 if I didn't have a free burger card. I had a chicken sandwich and I "made it myself". I don't appreciate eating "cuisine" and this joint was a "cuisine type" burger joint. Wha??? Caters to uppity Granite Bay folks. I could have gotten a better sandwich at Mel's Diner on Douglas Blvd. I don't appreciate having 1 lb of chicken, when it is 3 pieces of chicken on one bun. I ate the "non bunned" meat with a knife and fork. Then when I ate the last piece of meat "with the bun" I was full. Sent back the fries because they were too salty. They didn't charge me for that. How do you mess up fries? Morons like myself should not be allowed to make their own burgers because I will screw it up, when the restaurant has much better insight to how a burger should be prepared. My chicken sandwich that "I created" was really lame. I don't know what Gruyere cheese is and I don't want to find out. I won't have olives on my sandwich again. I am sorry but a burger joint that has fine wines and a bar isn't a real burger joint. Who the heck eats a burger with a glass of Merlot? I sure as hell don't. But, cool new hand dryers in the mens room though. That was really nice how it dried my hands so quickly. Sorry to burst your bubble but my money and gut will go to In N Out next time.
