Horrible experience. Bait and switch with groupons. Complained to the owner and he simply said, "sorry, not sure what you want me to say."
Watch out for yourself. I went to them to remove my small freckles spots on my face. And I did disclose that my skin burns easy under the sun. So they used a laser on me and the burned the freckles away. But I did have concerns how my skin will react. So I suggested to the Nurse if we can wait until the one she already did will come out. Next visit we scheduled it first thing in the morning 9 am. We were early at the Boutique and are waiting outside. As soon as they open we went in. The lady said is it ok to come back at 1 pm instead. We travelled almost 30 mins to get there. We insisted to be seen. So we waited another 1.5 hrs. Finally the Nurse shows up. And she looked at my treatment results and she was alarmed that my face was scarring. They ordered a special ointment to lighten it. And 4 visits later we are still dealing with the scars. My last visit the owner was on my case and asking if I paid a multiple visit in front of the other customers. I said I'm not sure. He said I only have one more visit and they will be done with me? How about the scars they created? I answered the owner in front of their customers and said exactly what happened. I saw some of the customers was concerned what they heard from me. I know if they don't correct it I will be seeing them in court. Some of my clients are asking what happened to my face. I have this bruise on the left of my face. Hopefully it goes away.
Less than Stellar. Went in for a facial, the Esthetician was not there for my appointment, either she forgot or there was some sort of scheduling issue, it was never explained to me just one "I'm sorry" said and then they called her to come in from her home in Roseville so it took awhile. Meanwhile I waited in the lobby the girls and a guy were gathered around talking trash about another spa in Granite Bay. It was just unbelievably unprofessional and not at ALL spa like or relaxing. A male massage therapist came over and chatted with me for a moment, he was the only nice thing about the visit. The lobby of the place is basically a big open room with everything from clothing for sale to hairstylist stations, no ambiance. The back rooms are much nicer but the facial was just o.k. I got the drift that the gal was mad about having to come in and did not do her best. They tried to hard-sell me into booking another service on my way out which of course I would not even consider. When I tried to gently explain that my experience did not warrant another visit the girl got hostile, and checked me out without another word. I think next time I will try that place in Granite Bay!
Amazing!!. I have to start off by saying I am obsessed with skin care and have tried many, many different spas/clinics in Sacramento. I've had lots of facial through the years and they've been relaxing but not very effective. I recently had the best facial of my life with Jamie. She was FANTASTIC! My skin looked amazing afterwards, I had a glow (?) She sugested a few products but there was no pressure at all. She was really patient with all my questions. And my skin still looks great so I think her sugestions were right on the mark. I'll definetly go back to see Jamie again. I haven't seen anyone else there, so I can't say what the other estheticians are like but I can't say enough great things about the gal I saw. However, the music is irritating.. most of it is new age stuff that I don't care for... but can look past.
