The Service Was Exceptional!. When I made the appointment the staff was very friendly. Once I came in my stylist and the greeter were very nice. The service was exceptional!! Amy did a great job!

Very Pleased. I wanted hair extensions, for I have really thin hair. And Kimmie pulled through. She did all within her power to make everything from the color and the triming blend with my own hair, even getting second opinions. I was treated wonderfully, and left with a great big smile on my face. Before she even started to apply the extensions, she shampood my hair, and automatically it brought back all the shine to my hair. Now my hair looks better than it ever has. I will definitely be going back to see her.

I HAVE ICE PICKS IN MY HAIR. I have to say that this is the first time I have ever felt so disappointed with my haircut that I regret getting it done and just wish my hair would grow out. I had a bob cut done from a much better place before, but because it was out of town, I decided to go to Hoshall's for a trim just ti fix up what grew out. It seemed like the stylist knew what she was doing, but to be quite honest, I'm not sure if people who don't know what quality style is can be good stylists even with good cutting skills. I left the place with something much different from what I went in with and feel like I look like some cheap high school girl with no sense of sophistication.

The salon may seem great because of it's facilities and accolades, but I think only their top stylists must deserve it because the mid- to bottom-level will make your hair look cheap. I seriously have no idea what that woman was thinking. She butchered the back of my hair and cut the sides too short with these two sections that extend like ice picks from my ears. I want to get my hair fixed but don't trust to go back. And since they just give you a gift certificate for refunding you, there is no point in asking for one. I'm going to find another salon to see if they will fix the damage, but because the woman cut the shorter part so short, I can't afford to cut anymore. DO NOT go unless you are confident in the stylist's ability to understand what you are asking for or you simply like this kind of cheap style they produce.

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!. I'm new to the Sacramento Area and everyone was telling me how GREAT Hoshall's was. So I tried it of couse! I'm a senior in high school but i'm pretty much financially independent! When i arrived at the salon, I met with my hairstylest to talk about what I wanted done with my hair! I told her funky highlights alot of different colors. (remember im paying for this all by myself)

The women made me call my mother to get premission to treat my hair! After I told her my mother had nothing to do with any of this, because I was paying for it.

Of course my mom said the normal thing "keep it natural"..I decided to go with it thinking that i could persuade her into giving me what I wanted. She didn't listen to me the ENTIRE 3 hours I was there. When i saw the finished product it looked like i had squirted lemon juice in my already sandy blonde hair!

oh and by the way it cost me 180 dollars!

WASTE OF MONEY WASTE OF TIME! i encourage all teenage girls to boycott!

Expensive, but good. I sent my wife there for a Mother's day spa day. She liked it so much, thats the only place she wants to get her hair done now. Watch out for the high priced products they want to sell you though.

Great Everything. I'm new to the area and I came across the Sac. magazine that said Hoshall's was the best salon for the 6th year now. I was convinced. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a star. My hairstylist is amazing and the salon itself looks great! The people on the reception are very kind and polite. They have great customer service and they make you feel like million bucks, even only with a haircut. I'll definitely be returning to Hoshall's!

Service was OUTSTANDING. I got a day of beauty from my boyfriend for valentines day and I finally went in to use it! It was amazing!!!! I never felt so pampered before. I had a facial and massage that was out of the world and they were able to get me in for a haircut at the last minute and I have never had such a great cut. The staff was so friendly and nice, I never wanted to leave. I left there feeling like a million bucks!

Hair Color Disaster. I tried this salon because they were voted #1. This was my worst hair color experience ever. He put the most hideous color combination on my hair. Brown with 1inch wide Golden Retriever Yellow stripes. He did not take into account my age or my skin coloration when choosing my hair color. He did what he wanted, not what I wanted, which resulted in the most unflattering hair color imaginable. I was horrified when I saw the results and let him know. After spending a sleepless night I went back the next morning at 9:00am to have this color disaster fixed. He was rude and told me to "talk to the desk." Thank goodness the manager was kind, she paired me with a wonderful stylist who semi-corrected this color disaster without turning my hair green. It will take another visit to fully correct.

I just love Hoshall's. I'm new to the area and searched for a year for a place to get a good haircut and I found Hoshalls thanks to a friend. My stylist, Cristina, is creative, listens to me and always does a great job with my color and cut. I won't go anywhere else now that I found them. They always make me feel quite welcome. I have fun in there and really enjoy the atmosphere, the location and how wonderful I feel when I leave.
