Very Happy. I saw that Hoshall's was voted best salon in Sacramento for the 6th time so I wanted to see what the big deal was. I was very pleased. I think that their customer service sets them apart from all of the other salons I have been to in the area. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I left there feeling great with a hair cut and color everyone has complemented me on. I have sent two friends in and received 40$ off my next service. I was not expecting that.

the salon for me!. i've been going to hoshall's for over 4 years and i've been w/ the same stylist all this time. she takes great care of me! i've grown w/ her through all of her promotions and price changes and through all my many hair lengths. she is constantly being educated on new cut and color techniques and i know w/ more education comes price increases, duh!!! she along w/ the other employees make me feel welcomed everytime i walk in the door. it's the salon for me

They Charge for a blow dry!. I used to just adore Hoshals and I never went anywhere else to get my hair cut but in the past few years they have let me down. It seems to me that once they moved to their new location they were more interested in their appearance of the salon than the appearance of the customer walking out the door. The entire place has an air of smugness. (Because I guess thats what salon style is all about) My biggest pet peeve was once you sat down in the salon chair they ask you if you want your hair to be blown dried at the end of the cut and that it will be an extra charge. Why am I paying more for a blow dry when it is essential to knowing if the cut is going to be right once the hair is dry?

Best haircut ever. I received the best haircut of my life at Hoshall's. My hair is very unforgiving of any unevenness in a haircut. I have had my hair cut by numerous "experts," but the cut I received at Hoshall's was the best. Just 1 minute into the haircut, I could tell that the technique being used was superior and much more precise than is typical. Also, the hairdresser immediately identified what type of cut and style would be best for me--without my having to tell her. I have returned several times now, and each experience has been excellent!
