PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!!!! I had the most horrible, unpleasant, upsetting experiencing the other day at Aura Spa & Massage. Last Christmas my husband got me a $200 gift certificate at this location, and for many reasons i was unable to use it. Finally couple of months later i went and the lady at the desk told me that Kelly the previous owner of Aura Spa is no longer there and they have a new owner. Well what does that have to do with anything right? The name of the place didnt change, only the owner did. Well they sent me to Joy Spa, which is down the street on Auburn because Kelly now works there. I went to that place and the person said she has no idea why i was sent there, since the certificate is for Aura Spa, they should warrant me the services. I went back to Aura Spa and the lady at the desk called Joy Spa (i am assuming it was Kelly she was talking) and they seemed to have a long argument over this (they were speaking in their language). She then finally said that she asked Kelly to just reimburse them the money if they are to offer services to me, since my husband paid the $200 dollars to her. She argued back saying she certificate was made to Aura Spa and having another owner doesnt change anything. So they flat out told me that they will not warrant this $200 certificate and that i can sue if i want. I went back to Joy Spa and asked for at least the money back and she didnt want to hear it all. Anyway, PLEASE DONT GO THERE! Ive never written a review before and never complained about anything in the past, but this is jut too upsetting. $200 dollars is a lot of money I hope no one else experiences this. There are a lot better places you could spend your money at.
