This kitschily decorated joint--stuffed snakes, animal skulls and marionettes--is a popular spot for locals seeking out inexpensive Mexican fare. Lunches and early dinners are not as crowded, but it's almost always packed during regular dinner hours. Mexican favorites, including tacos and enchiladas, and more exotic dishes are available. The Texas Ranger pork loins stuffed with napolitos (cactus) and meats like ostrich, boar and buffalo, are popular choices. Margaritas are big, flavorful and potent.

This is a Restaurant you do not want to miss when you are in Portland the decor is one of a kind and the service and food is top notch, the food comes to you fast, and friendly, very reasonably priced. This was a totally satisfying experience for my wife and me. Ken
Pros: Decor great, Food, prices and service all top notch
Cons: Parking could be better, and bathrooms are very small.

Great food here, with awesome guac. I love the decor, except for the stuffed turtles. That makes me sad. Great place for vegetarians. Lots of options, but i recommend the cheese enchiladas. I take everyone here, when they want some good old mexican food. The service is good, with a really friendly manager.
Pros: Guacamole is to die for.
Cons: stuffed turtles hanging from the ceiling.
