I bought a Mitsubishi DLP back in 12/06 that has a recall for a part that turns off the monitor. When I called Ken Cranes in West Los Angeles, I got directed to a centralized repair facility in Hawthorne. They set up an appointment for between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. At 3:00 PM, I had to leave and I got a call at 4:30 telling me they were at the house. When I told them they were two and a half hours late all they said was "we're here now". Not a stellar response. I called the place where I bought the TV and they told me I had to contact the Hawthorne facility. When contacted them, I was told that they could set me up with a new appointment but NO apology. OK, so the fact is that Cranes has a disconnect between sales and service which means that my upgrade of a second TV in the house will NOT be from Ken Cranes!
