Great Dine-In & Grubbin Pizza
by KayP23
I cannot believe the last review was over a year ago for this joint. Nor can I believe it was reviewed as low as it was. We sometimes find ourselves here more than once a week. It's not super close for us, but it has such a great neighborhood and comfortable feel and DELICIOUS FOOD that we drive a couple of extra miles.
They do have great service. The rest of the last review seems so off base thought that I went through the trouble of logging in to be one of these "reviewer" types which is not usually my style.
We eat their pizza a lot thanks to our hungry teenagers. It is always spot-on & grubbin good. Seriously one of thee best pizzas you will find in Sactown area. We are food people. Bank on lovin it.
We east more than pizza there also and old is not ever a description that would fit. Fresh with depth is way more accurate. We love their Marsala! And their Parmesans! And their pesto!
Maybe that was a flook we read about. Must have been. This place will not only feed you and maybe send you home with lunch tomorrow too, but they will make you feel like you went to dinner at a friend's.
Seritellas is hands down 5 stars for a classic Italian restaurant.
It's one of our Top-3. It's worth our drive everytime. There aren't too many of those kinds of joints out there.
- Pros: Food, Cocktails (big bar for a smaller place) & Friendly Service
- Cons: They don't open @ 4 like it says here. Parking can be tricky, but it has back up nearby.
Could do better

.This is not the Serritella?s of the old days. I had the Red Devil Linguine?.although this site would not let me use the word r------, I will say that it tasted that the sauce had been around for a long, long time; my boyfriend had the spaghetti/ravioli combo and it was seasoned with herbs that overpowered the dish; the kids had the pizza which was fair to good. Service was excellent but the decor just missed the refined image it was trying to portray. It is nice, with linen tablecloths and cloth napkins, but has a sterile feel. For the price, I would not recommend it.
- Pros: Service
- Cons: Parking, food, price
Great Homestyle Italian Food!
by trotbury
We went on Valentine's without a reservation and somehow managed to get a table after a 15 minute wait (the place was packed). They had a set-menu but we enjoyed it and decided to try again another time for the full menu. Our waiter (David?) was prompt and humorous and gave us good suggestions and made sure we were want of nothing. I had the Veal Saltimboca which was flavorful and tender with the polenta and marinara. My wife had the special, can't remember the name but it had chicken and artichoke hearts with angel hair pasta. We shared a tiramisu for dessert and then retired to the bar area to catch the end of the basketball game. We had a nice evening and recommend it for anyone.

Serving a selection of Italian dishes including pastas, seafood and meat entrees, the restaurant offers reasonable prices.
Best Italian by far

OMG their polenta is soooo good. I went here with my mom(the pickest of all eaters) We both loved it. The place feels like its family owned(a plus for me). The food was so delicious. They serve a lot and their prices are extremely fair. I love this place. I plan to go for my anniversary. Can't wait!!!
- Pros: Food, Ambience, Price
- Cons: Parking
A hidden treasure
by familyof5
We couldn't believe we hadn't experienced this Sacramento/Carmichael restaurant sooner! We typically take our kids now (family friendly), but it's a great place to dine with friend(s) and/or your special someone. The food's delicious (some yummy surprises on the menu too), service is fantastic, and you can even pick up a pizza for those quicker-dinner nights! Well worth knowing about!!!

Although we were seated promptly and the restaurant was fairly empty, it took forever to get served. Both the lasagna and trio combo (spaghetti, tortellini and ravioli) were overwhelmingly seasoned with anise which did not appeal to my teenagers. My caesar salad had too many lettuce pieces that were wilted and brown. They are no longer honoring the Entertainment book coupon but will take 20% off of the total ticket.
- Pros: attentive servers, nice atmosphere
- Cons: sparse parking, long wait for food

Great food, generous portions. Best old fashioned minestroni soup around. Not your California cuisine italian. Salads are crisp and fresh with good salad dressings. Pizza dough bread sticks with garlic butter to die for. Pasta is one of my favorites. Old Italian. Good entree items, however the prices are very high. Plan on about $60 for two people without dessert.
- Pros: quality, menu choices, portions
Pasta and romance to die for
by melloyellow75
Excellent pasta or pizza. Great place for that special someone! Lots of seating, however parking is limited, so you may have a short walk. The hot breadsticks come with excellent homemade peanut butter and garlic butter on the side!!
- Pros: Service, atmosphere, food
- Cons: parking
