Stellar locale, stylish quarters

Although our room faced the top floor of the parking garage, we still appreciated the locale of the hotel, just across from the Capitol Park and the capitol itself. Above-average service, except in the dining room, where servers can be slow and brusque if it's busy. We loved the abundance of pillows on our king bed, and the room service desserts are divine. Clean rooms, friendly maid service, great value.

One of the most luxurious options in Sacramento with fantastic views of Capitol Park.

The Scene
Palm trees surround this white stucco high-rise on the outside, while marble and glass populate the interior decor. One of the finest hotels in Sacramento, it has over 30,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor pool and two on-site restaurants. Business guests will find this property extremely convenient, as the hotel and its serviced meeting rooms are directly across from Capitol Park and adjacent to the convention center.

The Details
Although somewhat bland with a color scheme of olive, khaki and white, rooms are decidedly more luxurious than most Sacramento options. New furniture, sophisticated fitted comforters and designer throw pillows add freshness to the otherwise unimaginative Italian decor. To take full advantage of this hotel, guests should ask for one of the many rooms with unobstructed views of Capitol Park.
