I was introduced to Anjie Jarrett before I got married - the salon recommended her for both hair and make up. I came in with no clue about how I wanted my hair for the wedding. She tried several different things and we chose the one I liked the best. My "test" hair and make up were both beautiful. The day of the wedding, I looked even better. I have been seeing her ever since. She is always on time and provides great service. My highlights look natural and she has styled my hair to give me a younger look and feel. Prices are reasonable and worth every penny. I highly recommend Anjie (and Allure) for hair and make up - for special occasions as well as for your everyday needs.

Pros: Easy parking, good location - you can grab dinner or drinks before or after appointments

I originally had an appointment with a different stylist in Sac, Rosanna at Moxy (do not even bother with that woman!). Go to Allure and ask for TARA! My original appointment, with Rosanna at Moxy, was canceled less than 2 hours before the appointment time, so I was frantically calling everywhere in Sac trying to get in because I had to get my hair cut for an event. Well, I got in to see Tara and she was absolutely wonderful! She's a very nice person, and one of the best stylist I've ever been to! She cut my hair for an hour and a half, did exactly what I wanted, asked to make sure it was perfectly what I had in mind, and made sure it was just right before I left! It has been 2 week since I got the cut and I'm still very happy with it, that is the true sign of a good cut! So remember! GO TO TARA at Allure. She's great! I'm going to be back time and time again.

I am always reluctant to try a new hair stylist, but I am glad I did. Angie is terrific. She listened to what I wanted and gave it to me perfectly. I always die my dark brown hair red and have asked several other stylists to give me a lighter red and they said it couldn't be done, but Angie did it! I already made my appointment for next time. She has a new regular!

I found Allure Salon to be comfortable with a very friendly and attentive staff. The owner (Missy) cut and styled my hair and I love it. I have received many compliments and never hesitate to refer them to Allure.

Pros: Friendly attentive staff. Excellent hair cut.

I must say that after reading that review my girl didn't want to go there. But the only reason she did was b/c the other salons could not fit her in. We were out there for a week on business and she needed to get her hair done and we took a chance. Must say that I was very please with the way her hair was looking. If we lived here Allure would be the place for her. I had to pay this time and the money I paid was worth every dollar. She don't remember the owners name but she did a great job with her hair. Once again thanks for fitting her in and making my girl look real pretty for me!!

The owner of Allure cut and colored my hair and it sucked. She burned some of the hair and cut my hair WAY too short (she was off by like 4 inches from what i asked for). I went back and asked her to correct it because I didn't like it and she did nothing. She just kept saying it looked great.

awsome salon! i had the best haircut with lisa. everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful!l lisa did amazing cut and color on my hair! i love the location and the decor is great! street parking was not that bad either!
