The Scene
This is the record store your parents went to; you probably shop there, too.Decent sales, easy-to-navigate aisles and shelves stocked with hits (including those silly cassette and CD singles) make Tower a comfortable, familiar and ubiquitous place to fatten your music collection--and the international headquarters are located in West Sac, making it a homegrown phenom, too.

The Corner
Broadway and 16th is Tower Central: There's Tower Theatre, Tower Books, Tower Cafe and Tower Video. There's even a Tower Liquor across the street. (Creepy; like Disneyland for media junkies without the mouse.)

What You'll Find
A cross-section of humanity wandering the aisles and rockin' out at listening stations featuring top hits plus a few lesser-knowns. A rich selection of Latin, blues and jazz. Discount bins at the front of the store offering CDs for as little as $6. Hardware like Discmans and blank tapes.
