Go here! They have large straight from the grill burgers with all the fixings! A Small place that can get smoky (from the grill) but a great stop after a day at the beach! The onion rings are great also. Fair prices for the burger you get!

Great Burger Joint!

Conviently located right on the main highway in Kings Beach. They have a nice selection of food, beyond just burgers. You must try their delicous, creamy milk shakes. They are just a great old-fashioned burger stand. One of the best things is they are dog-friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating for you & your dog to enjoy Char-Pit's delicous food.

If you are ANYWHERE in Lake Tahoe, you must go to The Char Pit in Kings Beach, CA, on the North Shore! The food is GREAT!!! I haven't had a good quality, char broiled burger since I was a kid. Watch out though, they are addicting. Great Tahoe atmosphere, great service and great food, all at a good price. You can't beat that! Char Pit is a MUST when in Tahoe!
