I have suffered from migraines for over 10 years, thats right, 10 years!!! I get these migraines 2-3 times per week, pretty bad huh? :( And...I'm only 22. I'm not one of those people on the commercials that you see about an amazing, must have product that works miracles in a tiny little bottle. I am a real life, non-celebrity, young woman with a whole life to lead who has serious pain issues. When I first experienced a migraine in front of Scott, literally I was being tested and it had progressed to a pretty severe one, he was shocked, but kind of excited :) In a "hey, I get to help you right now!" kind of way. I was throwing up every couple minutes, unable to stand, sit down, lay down or think clearly. I couldn't drink water, or take any of the supplement drops recommended by Scott. He told me to go lay on the BioMat (which combines Far-Infrared Light and negative Ions with Amethyst Crystals to promote all sorts of fun stuff like weight loss, improved skin tone, pain relief!! ok ok lets stick to my story here) and stay there for a few minutes while he went and got some acupuncture needles. I did as I was told, Scott came in the room, poked me (don't worry they are hair thin needles :) and within 5 minutes, I was out like a light. Honestly, I completely fell asleep, it was wonderful! By the time I woke, about 20 minutes later, I had not moved one bit in my sleep, and...I wasn't throwing up! I was no longer sick to my stomach. I still had a headache, but the migraine aspect was gone, and by 8pm that night, my headache subsided. I was full of energy, enough to clean my entire house, make dinner, and play with my new kitten :) Honestly, people, he is wonderful! This is just one experience, I have had 5 others just like this, where my migraine disappeared and didn't rebound the next day or next week, it never did. We work every two weeks or so on my migraines, I am better, I am not "cured" of course, but thanks to Scott, I am alive inside as much as out.

Scott Sommer is a licensed acupuncurist and nutrionist - NOT an M.D., so don't give up your doctor, but if you have something going on where you are not getting answers, this is the place to go. Especially if you are not into prescription meds; this is holistic - all natural, herbal supplements. The clinic uses kenisiology for testing, and cold laser therapy for scars and allergy clearing, as well as foot baths and infared crystal beds for detox, so be open minded - some people say it seems like voodoo - but it works. Even if you are in what you think is good health, be prepared for some stuff going on in your body you may not be aware of, be prepared to take lots of supplements and be prepared to wait a good month or two to get in, there is a waiting list. Also, be warned you will be told almost without uncertainty to get off sugar, caffeine and wheat., so don't bother if you can't agree to that. They don't take insurance, and it's not cheap once you get on a "program". The clinic has a nice atmosphere, and you won't find a better Acupuncurist in the area, or a nicer guy. All in all it's a good experience, you just have to be willing to pay the price to get to good health. They offer a family rate and a discounted rate for pre-paying, so they make an effort to make it more affordable. Down-side would be how busy they are, they are very often running at least a half hour behind on appointment times. But at least you can relax and listen to zen music in your room while you wait. Also, staff is very nice, but very busy - plan on long checkouts when you leave. Recommended is the free Thursday night lectures where Scott Sommer will give a talk on a given subject and do a quickie test on any new potential patient to give a little sample of how things are done. All in all, the place is recommended, especially when all else has failed.

Pros: Great practioner, caring and has answers, you will get better

Cons: Appointments can feel rushed and clinic tends to run behind, costly to stay on program
