I’ve been a patient of Dr. Berg for several years. Our family travels a long distance to see him, and we think it’s worth it. A few years ago I broke a tooth when I was working out of state. I went to a friend's dentist, and when he looked in my mouth, he called in the 2 other dentists in to admire Dr. Berg's work. They joked about which of them wanted to work on me, knowing that Dr. Berg would be checking it out! I also like this office because you can tell the staff loves and admires the doctor and that he appreciates and respects them. Grace, his assistant, is a total gem, and has been with him all the years I’ve been a patient. I think this says a lot. There’s just a good feeling there, different from any other dentist I’ve been to. I’d recommend Dr. Berg to anyone.

Pros: Excellent work, thorough explanations, caring staff

Cons: It's a long way to his office from where I live.

The reviewer, John McCall must be a little confused about who his doctors are. I am Dr. Berg and can say that Mr. McCall is not, nor ever has been a patient in my practice at any time nor under any circumstance. His statement that he "had a negative experience with Dr. Berg and his practice" is simply not true and even libelous. He can only be referring to another Dr. Berg/ Burg/ Burk/ etc. My practice is founded upon the principles of patient service and satisfaction. While I believe that it is important for consumers to be well informed about local businesses that they may be considering patronizing, they certainly must be given accurate information to help them with that decision. False "bashing" does nobody any good. All I can say is come see for yourself.

Be careful in reading other reviews who question other reviews and exaggerate them. I had a negative experience with Dr. Berg and his practice. By the fact that there are two bad reviews on here would make me go elsewhere for my dental needs.

Dr. Berg has been my dentist for years and years and I really can't imagine ever wanting to go to anyone else. One reviewer said something about the staff being robotic/not good customer service... are you sure you have the correct Dr. Berg? I have found the staff very friendly, including Dr. Berg. Most of the staff knows me by name. At one point, I went to an orthodontist to get invisalign, not realizing that Dr. Berg did it (since he is a dentist and not an orthodontist). I was having trouble with the invisalign becuase they didn't quite snap to my teeth the way they are supposed to. Dr. Berg was able to fix them so that they worked much much better. Dr. Berg's office is always willing to work with me financially as well. I would never think of stiffing them, but when I get into a fix, they are willing to work with me so that I can still pay for my dental work. On top of all of this, I have never had any problems with any work that Dr. Berg has done, and not a lot of people can say that about their dental work. Great customer service, great dentist, and great staff.

Great dental office I have found the office wonderful. I live in Roseville and I travel all the way from Roseville to Howe and Fair Oaks to his office. Once there was a hygenist who wasnt friendly. Complained to the doctor. He had other complaints about her and she is no longer there. I am retired. Dont have much money for dental care. When I explained my situation to the doctor, he was able to make accommodations for me. I dont think any other dentist would be able to provide the financial assistance that is able to give me. Parking is no problem. The only negative? They dont have nitrous.

This dental practice is the most impersonable and unfriendly that I've encountered. Neither the dentist, nor his staff, seem genuinely interested in the patients. Very robotic. The whole climate makes patients feel uncomfortable. I left for another dentist after only a couple of appointments. This guy needs to take a lesson in customer service.
