My family consists of three very hungry individuals. We always are satisfied with the quality of food and the pricing at Buca........but there is going to be leftovers no matter what........... On Saturdays and Sundays, they feature a very special Angel Hair pasta with prawns, capers, feta cheese, and greek olives, in a very spicy sauce. This dish is so wonderful, its a mystery why its not on their permanent menu......my wife says the cheese ravioli is the best she's ever tasted...... HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION......but if you are seated next to a family with very small children, you should politely ask to be moved (or plan on having an extremely unpleasant dining experience).
Pros: Great food, super-sized portions, moderate prices
Cons: Avoid the overpriced drinks & desserts.

We found Bucc'a food to be pretty good and authentic, but if you are a couple that likes a variety of different foods, this is NOT the palce for you. Dishes arrive "family style" and in gargantuan proportions that easily feed six, so make sure you have a party of six! Food was good and I loved the decor.Sevice was above average also. Not a long wait for seating. We will go back........but with 4 more friends or a pack of hungry teenaged boys with hollow legs!
Pros: Good value for large groups/families, Ambience, Service
Cons: Not a good place for a couple(too much food!)

The portions on all the foods are huge. However, they charge a lot for their dessert and drinks such as soda. So just because the food is a deal, does not necessarily mean the drinks and other things are.

We were made to feel we were part of a special family by the attentive Mr. Chambers. Dinner out became an event, excellent food, smiling staff, relaxed atmosphere. We will visit other Buca's as we travel. I only hope they have mgrs. as charming as Mr. Chambers proved to be. He sold us on Buca Dining.
Pros: valet parking, happy staff
Cons: where are they??

Thought we'd try something new. They had high prices, and since we had never been there we tried the dinner for two, 2 pastas and an entree. The waiter assured us that this was "authentic italian cuisine, with lots of garlic and olive oil," like we had never had italian food before. The food came quickly and it was easy to see why. Both pastas were of the penne variety, one with a red meat sauce and the other with an alfredo sauce and...peas. Both were terrible. I swear they got this stuff out of a can. Where was all of the olive oil and garlic? I tasted only butter and tomatos. We like Italian, we know what it is supposed to taste like. That wasn't it. The entree was some shrimp dish- not good and the sauce was boring. Go to macaroni grill- its much better.
Pros: Cute Decor, Great Service
Cons: Lame Food, High Prices

Only for a group of like-minded with large appetites!Everything is served "family-style" - for example, the chicken cacciatore weighs 7 pounds (per our server) - as if that makes it wonderful! (It wasn't). The best item we had - the baked ravioli - giant ravioli filled with a fluffy ricotta and smothered with very tasty fresh tomatoes. Tasteless salad, noisy room - will not go there again unless dragged unwillingly! But interesting photos on walls.
Pros: easy parking, good service, nice decor
Cons: very average food, too noisy, no portions for two
